Florida Requirements:

30 hours of State or EMS Medical Director approved programs

  • 2 hours must be pediatrics
  • Paramedics must have ACLS
  • EMTs must have BLS / CPR

NREMT Requirements:

Paramedics must have 60 hours total, including ACLS and BLS/CPR:

  • 35 Hours – Interactive Home Preparation (Computer)
  • 25 Hours – Scheduled Class Time

EMTs must have 40 hours total, including BLS/CPR:

  • Hours – Interactive Home Prep (Computer)

Interactive Learning Program:

Approved for National Registry and Florida Licenses
Virtual, instructor-led education that can be completed online and at your own pace. *Those with NREMT licenses must attend 25 hours of classroom hours.


Part 1: Interactive Course
35 hours for NREMT licenses
30 hours for Florida state licenses

Part 2: Skills Validation Day – 10 Hours

  • ACLS Update with BLS – 9 hrs
  • Emergency Airway Management – 8 hrs
  • ITLS or PHTLS – 8 hrs or 16 hrs respectively
  • PALS – 7 hrs or 14 hrs

March 5th – 8 Hours – PALS for Medics (1 Day)
March 6th – 7 Hours – ACLS for Medics
March 7th – Practical Skills Day for Medics (10 Hours) & EMTs (6.5 Hours)

Must register for all refresher programs at one time to receive this pricing
